AI is currently getting a huge amount of hype. However, some tasks are still best left in the hands of actual human professionals. Take web design, for example. We recently tested an AI based tool for designing or redesigning a website and the results were, well, humerous. We let it loose on one of our own sites to better guage the finished site. To the right you’ll see what the AI took to be our Digitial Marketing Manager, a position we don’t actually have and it staffed it with a 3D image of a fictional person who appears to not quite match the given name (no judgement here). Next time you get a pitch to use AI to do a job normally handled by humans, think about whether or not you’re ready for the results.
